Understanding global citizenship in business has become crucial in today’s world. Our increasing demand in technology, international communication, consumers demand for foreign goods and services, environment, cultural awareness and general global competition has every company, large or small, affected. Almost every business, in one way or another, sells or buys its products or services from foreign countries.
A business is now required to develop an understanding of social responsibility, ethics, acknowledgment of traditions and cultural and political empathy. The goal is to resolve conflicts, promote sales and provide accountability, as well as achieving harmony by emphasizing global awareness and diversity. Global citizenship is now a part of our everyday lives!
