We are very proud of Francis and Andrew who graduated and earned the pleasure and pride of wearing WVC’s Global Citizenship stoles. Francis is transferring to UC Santa Barbara to complete a degree in psychology. Andrew is majoring in English and he has not decided where he will attend.
Vicky Kalivitis and Leigh Burrill have been selected to participate in Salzburg Global Seminar‘s week-long session for faculty and administrators focusing on “Education for Global Citizenship: What, Why, and How” at the beautiful 18th-century palace, Schloss Leopoldskron, in Salzburg, Austria during July 2013. The Salzburg Global Seminar is one of Europe’s foremost forums for the discussion of global issues.
