Presentation at Stanford’s EPIC 2017


A current and a former member of the WVC Global Citizenship Committee, Dr. Dulce María Gray, faculty member in WVC’s English Department and Women and Gender Studies Program, and Dr. Céline Pinet, former Dean of Instruction at WVC and current Dean of Academic Affairs at Hartnell College, presented at Stanford University’s 2017 Education Partnership for Internationalizing Curriculum (EPIC) conference titled “Integrating Global Issues into Community College Curriculum.” Their presentation is titled “”Educating and Mentoring Global Citizens: The Role of Co-Curricular Activities.” EPIC is a project supported by Stanford’s Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) and Global Studies Division. EPIC provides professional development opportunities for K-12 teachers and community college instructors and professors.
