GC Students Graduate

The 2017 WVC 52nd graduation was held on Thursday 25 May at the San José Center for the Performing Arts. This year, there are 1,200+ graduates, the youngest is age 17; the oldest is age 63. 275 graduates walked across the stage to pick up their diplomas during the Commencement ceremony. 2,000+ attendees cheered them on.

This year, three students graduated with an emphasis in Cultural and Global Studies: Cynthia Green, earned an AA in Liberal Arts Transfer degree in French with an emphasis in Cultural and Global Studies; Sergio Pineda earned an AA in Liberal Arts Transfer degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Cultural and Global Studies; and Savannah Brownell earned an AA in Liberal Arts Non-Transfer with an emphasis in Cultural and Global Studies.
